Welding Glove Buying Guide

Choose glove style by process, heat and dexterity needs

MIG and stick

Heavier leather gloves trade dexterity for heat and abrasion protection, which often suits MIG and stick work.

TIG

TIG gloves are usually thinner to improve torch and filler-rod control. They are not intended to provide the same heat protection as heavy stick gloves.

One glove does not fit every job

Grinding, material handling and welding expose hands to different hazards. Match the glove to the task and keep dry gloves in good condition.
